This is a vintage Navy anchor. Acquired by a merchant marine in the mid 1900's, this would be a collector piece for any pin lover! the color is fading but a good polish and some loving will make the pin a must have addition!
The top of the anchor is red, the middle is white, and the lower arms are blue. There is a rope that goes around the anchor that is in good shape. The metal is starting to tarnish, but this could easily be taken care of with the right treatment. The back has no markings on it to state the type of metal used, or any other stamps to state specifics. The anchor is roughly 2 1/2" long by 1 1/2" wide.
